Rothenburg ob der Tauber is a small town in Germany west of Nuremberg with 10898 inhabitants. Although the city was destroyed in the Second World War, it has restored the old face of the city. The city is known internationally as a symbol of the mediaeval Germany. With countless souvenir shops and restaurants it has become well established on the influx of visitors. Rothenburg is ideally located in the romantic region of Franken, on the outskirts of the Tauber Valley and is therefore already visited since the second half of the 19th century by an increasing number of tourists. It has a well-preserved old town from the Middle Ages and is considered one of the most romantic cities in Germany. A special feature is the city wall, where you can walk around the city.
